Background
On 14th October 1999 Kevin Hanwell (the KH) in KH Sound was involved in a near fatal 100 m.p.h. head on car crash.
Kevin was cut out of the wreckage and was hospitalized for 5 days. Quite a wake up call. From this KH Sound was born turning a passion for Sound, Lighting and AV from a mere hobby into a much bigger operation with the primary function of being a resource for churches bringing quality to every area of production. This has evolved into a bigger market as recommendations have spread. This is a business run on Christian principals but with a wide number of clients from churches to schools to corporate.
The last 6 years have seen the equipment evolve from good amateur gear to fully pro spec. This has been reflected in the number of repeat bookings and the move into the Corporate Presentation Market.
The team has grown during 2006 and now comprises Kevin Hanwell (sound, lighting and AV engineer), Steve Rudd (sound engineer) Neil Taylor (sound engineer and logistics) and Graham King (LIghting engineer, Marc Dunmore (lighting and sound), Josh Taylor (AV and sound). In addition to the core PA, AV and lighting rig we can also hire in much bigger rigs to match any size of venue.
