Hire Terms and Conditions
In order to provide the highest quality of equipment it is necessary to charge a hire fee as detailed in the equipment listing section. This can be waived in favour of a donation at the complete discretion of KH Sound and Lighting. Please however be aware of the standard conditions of hire which apply to all hires as follows:-
The Hirer agrees:-
| Definition | The words "Hiring Company" shall mean KH Sound and Lighting. |
| Indemnity | To indemnify the Hiring Company against any loss it suffers in consequence of any damage or theft of the Equipment and any claims made by any person in respect of its use while in the custody of the Hirer. |
| Liability | That he has received the Equipment free from defects or damage and he acknowledges that the Hiring Company has no liability in respect of any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of the equipment or electrical or mechanical failure of the equipment. |
| Property | The Equipment remains the property of the Hiring Company at all times. The Hirer shall keep the equipment free from lien, distress, execution or other legal process and refrain from prejudicing the Hiring Company’s rights in the Equipment. |
| Return | To return the equipment to the Hiring Company’s address from which the equipment was let, in the same condition that it was at the commencement of the hiring. |
| Insurance | The Hirer shall be responsible for the insurance of the Equipment up to the full market value. |
Pricing policy
All prices are per day. VAT is not currently charged. Weekly Hire rates are 3 times the daily hire rate (4 days free).
Weekend hire rates are 1.5 times the daily hire rate.
All Equipment and packages are supplied with connection leads free of charge.
Payment Terms: In full-on collection (a £100 cash deposit & proof of identity is required) - cash or cheque with bankers card.
